Understanding Irregular Periods
Irregular menstrual periods are most frequently the result of hormonal changes in women in the latter half of their reproductive life (mid-30’s onwards). Menstrual blood flow is controlled by the hormones estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen stimulates a build up of the uterine lining and progesterone holds the lining together. There is a fine balance between the two and if there is a disruption to one or both hormones, often the disruption can be reflected in menstrual bleeding changes. With advancing reproductive age progesterone production post-ovulation declines and frequently heavier and irregular periods are the result. Often there are multiple changes in the woman’s body that are not immediately recognized as related to progesterone deficiency.
Evaluate your symptoms with the online Progesterone Deficiency Symptoms assessment quiz.
This free booklet explains the causes, symptoms and treatment options for treating heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, peri-menopausal changes and much more.

Subject: RE: Blood Results as Discussed
Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for taking time to not only phone, but also bothering to email me, I am extremely grateful and appreciate your guidance with the usage of both these products.
As suggested, I will complete the questionnaire now and again in three months, and shall forward the results of the next blood test.
Again thank you to Trish and yourself for being so helpful.
Kindest regards
Sue

Dear Sue
Nice speaking with your earlier.
With the AndroFeme (testosterone) use 2 units once daily continuously. After 2-3 weeks have a blood test done measuring calculated free T and Free Androgen Index (FAI).
With ProFeme 3.2% use 2 units once daily for 3 weeks in every four. I would do the Progesterone Deficiency online questionnaire now and again in 3 months for comparison. See http://www.hormonesolutions.com.au/content/natural-progesterone-cream/menopause-self-assessment.php
Get back to me once you have your testosterone blood tests because the dose may need to be adjusted downwards depending upon how well you absorb the testosterone. And again at 3 months if you wish to review.
I have attached some general info booklets for reading if you wish.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you have concerns.
Yours sincerely
